BMO investments: 0.67 cents per point.

You can redeem your BMO Rewards Points towards investments with BMO. A 15,000 point redemption will give you $100 towards a BMO investment account which gives your points a value of 0.67 cents per point.

This is the same value that you'll get when redeeming for travel except with investments you could earn more money in the long run.

Gift cards: 0.4 cents to 0.5 cents per point.

BMO Rewards points can be redeemed for gift cards at an average value of 0.4 to 0.45 cents each, though it is possible to get higher or lower depending on the retailer. The redemptions values are kind of all over the place, so you'll want to run the calculations to see how much your points are worth.

Merchandise: point value varies.

Points can also be used for merchandise which will heavily vary in value depending on the item you're looking at. When comparing the price in points versus the retail price, I found redemptions as low as 0.3 cents per point and some close to 0.6 cents in value.

As with gift cards, you'll want to calculate the value based on the retail price to see if it's worth you redeeming your points.

BMO Rewards points can be redeemed for statement credits at a rate of 15,000 BMO Rewards points for a $50 credit. This will give your points the lowest value of 0.33 cents per point which less than half the value you'll get out of travel and investment redemptions.
