Discover IT Business Card
Calculate how much cash back you can earn with the Discover IT Business Card based on monthly/yearly spend and compare the results side by side top cards.
The Discover IT Business Card is a solid option for anyone looking to earn a 1.5% return across all purchases. There are many cards that earns at the same rate, but what makes Discover different is that they feature there ever-so-popular Cashback Match benefit which matches your first year earning dollar-for-dollar. That turns the Discover IT Business Card into a powerful, no annual fee, 3% cash back card in it's first year. If you're a business that has mid-to-heavy spend during the year, this card can earn some serious cash back.
The Discover IT Business Card earns cash back at a flat rate on all purchases. It does not feature specific bonus categories or rotating categories. There is no limit to the amount of cash back you can earn at the flat rate and no limit to the amount of cash back you can earn with the Discover IT Business Card in general.
1.5% All Purchases
The Discover IT Business Card earns 1.5% cash back per $1 spent on all purchases. This is basically your standard 1.5% card just like the Spark Cash Select and the Discover IT Miles Card. If you're looking to earn more than 1.5% cash back on business purchases, the AMEX Blue Business Cash earns 2% cash back on the first $50,000 in purchases made during the year and has no annual fee. If you spend more than $50,000 per year, you can glance at the Spark Cash Business Visa which earns 2% cash back on all purchases, but it has an annual fee.
Perks and Benefits
Discover is most known for there Cashback Match which is what makes Discover Cards so unbeatable in their first year.
Discover Cashback Match
Discover cardholders will have their first year earnings matched dollar-for-dollar. This is an automatic process meaning there's no signing up. There is no limit to the amount that Discover will match. So if you run $4,500 across this business card per month, you'd earn a total of $810 in cash back ($4,500 * 12 months * 0.015% cash back). Discover will then match that at the end of your first year. This means you would have an additional $810 added to your account and you would net $1,620 in your first year which is superb.
Sign Up Bonus
There is no standard sign up bonus for the Discover IT Business Card.

There is no fee to add additional users to the Discover IT Business Card. I recommend adding additional users in order to get the most out of the Cashback Match during the first year of having the card.

There is no foreign transaction fee on the Discover IT Business Card. Discover is not yet widely accepted across the globe, so you may run into some roadblocks while trying to use this card outside the United States.
