Learn the benefits of the Target Circle Rewards program and calculate how much cash back you can earn spending in the program and with the Target RedCard.
Target is an American retail store headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are currently the 8th-largest retailer in the United States and have over 1,800 stores across the states.
Target Rewards Program & Calculators
Target's loyalty program is called Target Circle and it's free to sign up for. With Target Circle, you'll earn 1% back on purchases made in-store at Target, online at Target.com, or through the Target App. If you have the Target RedCard, you'll earn 5% back on Target purchases like you normally would. Along with earning cash back you'll also receive the following benefits as a Target Circle member:
- Access to deals & offers through your account
- A 5% off coupon annually on your birthday
- Earn votes to help direct where Target gives in your community
It's a pretty straightforward program and an easy way to earn a little cash back into your pocket. Plus, you'll be able to add coupons and offers to your Target Circle account and then will trigger automatically at checkout at Target. If you shop at Target frequently, I recommend signing up.
Credit Card Rewards Calculators
The Target RedCard is the best credit card for Target purchases. It offers a great 5% return and grants you multiple benefits when shopping at Target such as free 2-day shipping, additional time for returns, and exclusive gifts and offers. It comes in a credit and debit card version. The Target RedCard Debit Card links directly to your checking account to make purchases whereas the Target RedCard Credit Card works like a normal credit card in which you'll pay off your card every month.
You can click on the Target credit card below to learn about the bonus categories, perks & benefits, standard sign up bonus, and fees of the card. The Target credit card also has it's own cash back calculator. The calculator will calculate how cash back you can earn and the cash value of the Target credit card based on your monthly/yearly spend, how much each card benefit is worth to you, and the fees of the card. You can compare the results side by side any credit card featured on the site. Any spend you enter into the Target credit card calculator will carry over to all credit card calculators on the site, so there's no need to re-enter spend when jumping page to page.
Comparison Calculators features side by side comparisons of frequently compared credit cards or comparisons requested through our YouTube channel. These calculators are already set up so you can immediately start calculating total rewards as well as the cash value of the compared cards based on your monthly/yearly spend, how much the card benefits are worth to you, and the annual fees. Comparison Calculators does not allow you to change the designated cards being compared. If you want to compare credit cards outside of the comparisons listed below, I recommend searching for the credit card you want to compare and then using its calculator to compare it against anything featured on the site.
Online Portals + Target.com
You can earn additional rewards on top of the cash back you normally earn with Target by using online shopping and cash back portals. These free-to-use portals offer the chance to double and triple dip on rewards. They're very easy to use:
- You find the store on the online portal of your choosing
- Click on that portal's affiliate link for that store
- You'll land on the store's normal home page to shop as normal
- Once you make a purchase, the shopping portal will be notified
- You'll earn cash back (or other rewards) with that online portal
This is an easy way to earn the 1% cash back with Target Circle or 5% with the Target RedCard and earn some additional cash back, points, or miles on top of that. I highly recommend using an online portal for online shopping especially when booking travel such as hotels and car rentals.
